“A New Beginning for All!”
Romans 5:6-9
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for
the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet
perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been
justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Have you ever heard someone say, “I wish I could go back and
start again,” or “I wish I could do that all over again so I could do it
differently.” Well, the sad thing is that yesterday is gone and all
that we have done and said is in the past. We cannot change the
past, but we can have a new beginning for 2021. How?
First, for those who are lost and without Christ as Lord and Savior
you can have a new beginning by believing in Jesus, receiving Him as your Lord and Savior and being forgive for all your past sins. He
loved you so much that He died for YOU. “Believe in Jesus, repent
of your sins, and call upon the name of the Lord asking Him to save
you. He will forgive all your sins and give you eternal life by grace
through faith.
If you are a true believer in Christ and yet He seems to be so far
away, guess who moved? It was not Christ, but you. You can have
a new beginning for 2021 through coming back to your Lord, repenting of the sins that have broken your fellowship with Him, and renewing your faith and commitment to Jesus. Remember what John said to us in:
1 John 1:8, 10, 9
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth
is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar,
and His word is not in us. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteous-
ness.”
Here, then, is the place of our “new beginning” in Christ. Here is
our “new beginning” for 2021. We can begin again with Jesus!!
